Is it a good idea or bad idea?

I think it is a bad idea, but it can also be a good one.

I think it is bad because there are people there that could be in need of a better life if one of their family members are sick or are in need of a better home or place to grow up in. If I was a mother I would like for my children to grow up in a nice community and that's why it could be a bad idea for Trump to build a wall between the two country's .

Where this Picture is from :)

I think it is also a good idea because it could keep out terrorists or those who are there to cross over and do bad things like wrecking their homes and other things that could be bad for both country's. I think that building a wall between the two could keep out those who like to do bad things and put other people in danger so building a wall means both country's would be protected .

Building a wall could also be starting war between the two country's and these two reasons are why some people like Donald Trump and some people do not. This means that you are aloud your own opinion on things so if you like it that's your choice and if you don't no one should be able to judge that.

  1. Hey Selu

I'm Daniel from the Kootuitui Summer Learning Journey team and I'm excited to start commenting on your blog posts this week and over the summer.

I think you’ve done a fantastic job on this task, you’ve thought about the issue and given lots of good reasons for both sides of the argument. You’ve been really respectful the whole time and still made it clear how you feel and what you think.

It also awesome to see that you have attributed you image, this is a perfectly acceptable way to do it for now but as you are year 8 I would also challenge you to have a look at how the images have been attributed on the activities page. (https://sites.google.com/site/summerlearningjourney/weekly-activities/2019-teaser-week-y6-8) and try to copy that style just to learn the professional way.

I’m looking forward to seeing more awesome work like this from you this week and throughout the holidays. Remember that week 1 of the SLJ program starts on the 16th of December to start earning those points.

    Daniel
